Advent Day 11

Our verse today relays a great promise of God.  God desires to be sought and obediently followed.  Contextually this promise is made from God to His people during a time of transition.  There are elements of uncertainty and God steps in to provide stability, order, and ultimate hope to His people.  

Today I encourage you to simply thank God for the love, provision, and stability He has provided for you.  You might even take the time to make a list of the things God provides that are norms or constants in your life.  Know that even though there might maybe things in your life that are uncertain God promises us He is always there if we will humbly seek Him.    

“But from there, you will search for the Lord your God, and you will find him when you seek him with all your heart and all your soul.”

Deuteronomy 4:29
