Advent Day 23

Trusting is not always easy.  The writer of our passage today begins this passage acknowledging the creative and mighty power of the Father.  The Psalmist writes to the Lord in praise as a result of God’s work both through creation and within mankind.  God’s plan for humanity centered on Christ and today as you read and pray I encourage you to ask yourself if like God your days focus on Christ and God’s fulfilled promises through Him?

As you pray wait for God’s leading and trust His perfect and righteous leading.  Then as you go through your day consider how God has worked in the world you live in.  Consider what He has created and consider those around you whom He has worked in and through.  He is our joy and in Him we can trust because He is faithful to His promises.

“We wait for the Lord; he is our help and shield. For our hearts rejoice in him because we trust in his holy name.”

Psalms 33:20-21 CSB
