Advent Day 2

Thursday - Luke 1:46 & 48

As a young teenager how might you have responded to God’s promised work in your life through birthing His Son?  Know there are things that have and will occur in life that you will not be ready for.  As Luke records Mary provides the reason for her joy with the news of God’s promise of impending usage of her life.  She states she can joyfully rejoice because God has “looked with favor on the humble condition of His servant”.  Despite the wrongs you are carrying today God is truly looking on you with favor.  He is freely offering to you the promise of His Son.  Today spend some time in prayer considering the unknown of the days ahead.  Ask the Lord to work within you a greater understanding and trusting of who He is.  We can rejoice because all of God’s promises are yes in Christ’s past, present, and even future work!
