1.18.22 Blog

I hope this note finds everyone well and warm.  I know the snow has been welcomed by some and not so welcomed by others.  Personally my home has enjoyed this latest round of winter and even some sledding!

This past weekends services were encouraging.  It was neat on Sunday to have multiple visitors in attendance to hear our guest speaker Jason Stiltner.  If you did not get a chance to hear Jason’s story I would encourage you to take a few minutes and watch our service from Sunday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kb11sddPd8 If you have heard me speak much you will hear me often quote or reference James 1:2.  It is hard and counter intuitive to rejoice in trial and suffering but Jason’s story is a reminder of how the effects of sin, redemptive work of Christ, and the witness God allows us all to have are to be considered.

This week we have nothing abnormal on our church schedule.  I do though want to encourage all to consider the announcements page on this website for all the details and upcoming events.

As I write this we have several that are sick and battling various issues.  I know some are awaiting results of covid tests while others are battling coughs, congestion, etc.  Currently those known sick in or around our community of faith include Cindy Newton’s parents, Pam Webster’s sister, Bob and Allene Jones and others.  As always I would encourage you to take time and pray for these needs.

I look forward to seeing everyone soon.  We will be continuing our series through the Bible on Sunday and I hope all that can meet in person for service will make plans to do so.
