Women’s Ministry

Middle Creek Women’s Ministry exists to glorify God by developing a caring group of women devoted to Christ through meeting the needs of those in our community and each other in all seasons of life through prayer, Bible study, relationships, encouragement, outreach and love.

Our Goals are:

  1. To Grow in love and knowledge of Jesus while working together to accomplish His will.

  2. To establish nurturing relationships within our group, our church, and our community.

  3. To minister to those God places on our path.

  4. To create a loving, caring, and fun atmosphere whenever we gather.

The Women’s Ministry coordinates opportunities for service and fellowship, including handling the church meal train, putting on an annual community clothing drive, annual women’s retreat, quarterly women’s ministry meetings with ministry planning, fellowship, and devotionals, along with other fellowship and service activities.

We are starting a new Bible study group that will meet once a month, studying the Book of 1 Peter. Items you might need:

*A Bible (a couple translations is helpful)

*Access to a commentary (study notes, commentary, or Bible app commentary)

*Worksheets (will be provided - see Katrina Moore)

The worksheets are for your personal use only & to bring to group. No one will “check” your worksheets.

Two different times will be offered each month & you may pick which one is convenient for you.

  1. Group 1: First Monday morning of the month at 10-11am and is led by Sherry Smith.

  2. Group 2: Monday evenings to be announced through out the year and is led by Katrina Moore.

Ask Katrina Moore for access to the Women’s Ministry Facebook group, which the group actively uses to coordinate events and ministry at the church.
