Our Leadership
Minister of Worship and Youth: Aaron Leslie
Officially, Aaron’s creative talents are currently being used by the church in the areas of leading worship and ministering to youth. Unofficially, Aaron’s background in media combined with visual and video talents aid the church greatly in social and web-based content. Aaron and Hannah and have been serving the MCBC community since January of 2018.
Ministry Assistant: Glenda Walls
Glenda serves the church in numerous ways. Officially her title is the church’s administrative assistant however having been married for 48 years and with vast experience of serving both her community and her church in various roles, including being the wife of a minister, her wealth of knowledge and eye for detail plays a pivotal role in the ministry of MCBC. Glenda has 4 children: Bryan (Kara), Brett, Brandon and Brooke (Dave) and 5 grand children.
Kid’s Ministry Leaders: Kaylee Moore
In addition to being the spouse of a deacon, Kaylee has taken the crucial responsibility of leading our children’s ministry with a heart and passion for teaching the kids all about Christ. Outside of the church, Kaylee is a nurse currently preparing teens for a life in the medical field. Kaylee has unique skills to provide a fun and safe environment for our MCBC littles to grow in the knowledge and grace of Christ Jesus.
Guest Pastor: Matt Cannon
Rev. Matt Cannon serves as the Director of Missions for the Big Emory Baptist Association (BEBA), an association of over 50 churches in Roane and Morgan Counties, Tennessee bebatn.com. In this role, he leads the association’s mission work, which includes evangelism, discipleship, community outreach, and supporting churches in fulfilling the Great Commission through prayer, fellowship, and worship
