We are officially into the second month of the 2022.  As always I want to encourage you to make the most of the time God provides.  As we are now well into the new month I want to make you aware of the current happenings at the church.  

First I want to thank all the leaders and those who came out in support of our ladies ministry meeting yesterday.  This is a really neat ministry that has grown greatly in support and aid to the overall ministry of MCBC.  I am looking forward to hearing all the details of the planning and vision God is giving and working in our women of MCBC.  More details will be coming on this front.  

Second we had a great Sunday yesterday as we considered Hosea Gomer and started answering the question, What is Love?  As we began to answer the question of what is love we consider the clear illustration God established through the marriage and family of Hosea and Gomer.  In this process we spent much of our sermon considering the opposite of love, sin.  The challenge was set to take an axe to the snares in our life that give sin opportunity.  I again challenge all to spend some time in prayer, God’s Word, and personal reflection regarding personal sin.  God is good and if we will confess, repent, and trust Him He will give, show, and be for us the love that we all need.  (Rom.10) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06Rr4pQHRFA

This week in prayer I have numerous names for us to consider.  As always I encourage everyone to set aside specific time to corporately petition these names before the Lord.  Our list this week is as follows….

Meagan Mooneyhan (Katrina Moore’s Daughter) Health issues combined with travel 

Bethany Belice’s Sister-in-law and Mother who are continuing to battle lasting effects of Covid

Roy Langley and family - BEBA Pastor whose family is battling health issues 

Allene Jones - Continue recovery combined with future cancer treatments after Covid

Allie - Niece of Glenda Scarbrough who is battling daily physical pain
