I believe challenges serve purpose. (James 1:2) In 2020 everyone faced challenges that were not foreseen nor, I believe, the fault of anyone person. During this time the church had to make some forced changes. One of these changes was the stoppage of close proximity meetings. Doug Brook’s Sunday school class was more than just a class. For many in this group it was a weekly meeting that served as encouragement, fellowship, and gained wisdom of God’s leading in a common season of life. Since March of 2020 this group has not reconvened any an official capacity. I am super excited to announce that on March 17th a new MCBC group will be meeting. This group will be led by Mr. Doug Brooks and provide an important resource for our church’s mature adults to consider, practice, grow, and practice God’s Word in close community together. I hope you will help me get the word out about this group and let me or Mr. Doug Brooks know if you have questions or would like more information. Exciting times at MCBC.
